I'm Nicola Freeman, a textile artist who discovered, about ten years ago, that I can draw far better with a sewing machine than with a pencil. Using free-motion embroidery, fabric, and thread, I create unique framed artworks inspired by animals, everyday observations, and the occasional creative challenge. Many of my materials come from treasured fabrics inherited from my mother and my ever-growing stash. I hope my quirky, whimsical pieces spark curiosity, bring a smile, and invite you to take a closer look.
